Community Service is the pride and joy of our chapter. We aim to participate in a community service initiative atleast once a week, whether it be by ourselves or with another organization. Per our by-laws, each member must complete 15 hours of community service per semester. In the recent past, we have volunteered with Camp Papillion Animal Shelter, Pleasant Ridge Farms, American Legion Post 346, and the Borough of East Stroudsburg.
As of April 19th, our chapter has completed 244.5 hours of community service. At the conclusion of Greek Week 2026, we earned the Community Service Initiative award from ESU due to our dedication of giving back to the community. This spring, we volunteered 138 hours at Camp Papillion Animal Shelter, 71.5 hours on campus, 24 hours at Pleasant Ridge Farms, and 11 hours at American Legion Post 346.
During Fall 2025, the Psi Beta chapter completed 100 hours of community service. Throughout the semester, we volunteered at Camp Papillion Animal shelter, did campus cleanups, helped American Legion Post 346 in the Veteran's Day Parade, and did a town cleanup for the Borough of East Stroudsburg
